Our Roots

A subsidiary of MetLife, Inc., and an affiliate of Metropolitan Life Insurance Company (“MetLife”), one of the world’s oldest and most respected financial service companies, we were founded in 1972, and moved to our present site at 700 Quaker Lane in Warwick, RI in 1977. Our affiliate, MetLife, was founded in 1868, and as of January 1, 2007, has over $527 billion in total assets and 70 million customers around the world.
